Authorization and Follow Up Instructions

1. If your insurance requires you to have an authorization for your imaging study, please wait for your authorization number prior to scheduling your imaging appointment. Our office will contact you within 3-5 business days with an authorization number once we receive approval from your insurance company.

a. Please note that each insurance company has different requirements to authorize imaging and we will make every attempt to provide a quick turnaround time for your authorization. If we do not have an authorization within 3-5 days, we will contact you via your portal with a status update.

b. If you haven’t set up your patient portal account, please click the Patient Portal link at the top of this page and follow the instructions.

2. Once your imaging is complete please make sure you receive a copy of the imaging disc before you leave the imaging facility.

3. Please set up a follow-up appointment once your study has been completed. You must bring your imaging disc to your follow-up appointment. To provide you with the best care, your physician will review your imaging results with you and discuss appropriate next steps.

Open MRI

Our high-resolution open MRI is the perfect option for patients who are uncomfortable in confined spaces. This unit produces images that are comparable to those produced by a closed MRI.
