
Dr. Gupta is board certified in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. He completed his fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University where he served as team physician for sports teams at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. He is a team physician of the Jersey Shore Blue Claws (MiLB) and Philadelphia Freedoms (World TeamTennis) and an assistant physician with the Philadelphia Phillies (MLB).
Dr. Gupta specializes in a wide array of adolescent and adult musculoskeletal injuries, providing care to athletes and non-athletes with acute injuries, chronic overuse conditions, degenerative arthritis and nonsurgical fractures. His background in physical therapy and osteopathic medicine provide a unique approach to injury prevention and recovery. He has lectured on numerous sports medicine topics and is fluent in Spanish and Hindi.
He is active with national organizations including the Society for Tennis Medicine and Science, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and American Academy of Family Physicians.
