
Dr. Ryan Judy is a fellowship trained hand and upper extremity surgeon. Originally from Delaware County, he completed his undergraduate studies at The College of the Holy Cross and received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He then completed his orthopedic surgical residency at Temple University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, he completed fellowship training at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center.
Dr. Judy has particular interest in minimally invasive techniques including wrist arthroscopy and endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery.He specializes in the treatment of nerve compression (carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel), microsurgery for tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis, fractures and joint replacements for the small joints of the hand and wrist.
Additionally, Dr. Judy has authored peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and abstracts throughout his training. He has presented his work at local, regional and national conferences and has been awarded for his research. He is a Candidate Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
