
Dr. Phil Koehler is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine and completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Following residency, he went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Spine with Rothman Orthopaedics. He also completed an undergraduate fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) where he received his medical degree. He provides non-operative spine and musculoskeletal care for patients of all ages with a particular focus on low back and neck pain. His treatment options include fluoroscopic guided spinal injections which include epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, selective nerve root injections, sacroiliac joint injections, facet joint injections, the Intracept procedure (Basivertebral nerve ablation), kyphoplasty as well as spinal cord stimulator trials. He also provides Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), electrodiagnostic testing (EMG), and medical cannabis certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Koehler is a published physician and holds a number of medical memberships including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR) and the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine (AOCPMR) and Rehabilitation, American Board of Pain Medicine (ABPM).
