Dr. Sharkey is a board certified and globally recognized leader in Orthopaedics and an expert in the field of hip and knee replacement surgery.He is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Sharkey is the first surgeon from Philadelphia to be inducted into both the prestigious Hip and Knee Societies.He is an honorary member of the Irish Orthopaedic Society and was recognized with their Lifetime Achievement Award.
