
Dr. Duncan is currently the head team physician for Villanova University and has served in this role since 2012. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Villanova, where he majored in biology, minored in business, and played Division I baseball.After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, he completed his residency at the Bryn Mawr Family Practice Residency Program at Bryn Mawr Hospital.He completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship through the Drexel University Sports Medicine fellowship program.While at Drexel University, he served as team physician for several local universities and high schools.
In his current role as head team physician for Villanova University, he directly oversees all aspects of student athlete healthcare for all 24 sports.He is also the Athletic Health Care Administrator for Villanova University.In this role at Villanova, he oversees Villanova University’s health and safety policies and practices to ensure compliance with NCAA legislation.He also previously served as the physician liaison to the Big East Conference Health and Safety Working Group which developed health care policy for the Big East Conference.
Dr. Duncan specializes in non-operative orthopaedics for active people of all ages.His practice centers on the overall health of patients at all levels of competition.His interests include acute musculoskeletal injuries, chronic overuse injuries, as well as injury prevention.Dr. Duncan utilizes the latest sports medicine techniques to get his patients back to their active lifestyles. He is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and American Academy of Family Physicians.
