
Dr. Freedman graduated from Princeton University and completed his residency and medical school training at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, IL and is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with a Subspecialty Certificate in Sports Medicine.
With a focused practice in sports medicine injuries to the knee and shoulder, Dr. Freedman has particular expertise in the treatment of complex knee and shoulder ligament and cartilage injuries.As the Director of the Bryn Mawr Hospital Cartilage Restoration Program, he specializes in cartilage restoration techniques, as well as arthroscopic reconstruction and joint replacement of the knee and shoulder.He provides care to athletes at several local high schools and colleges.He has been recognized as one of the areas “Top Doctors” in Philadelphia Magazine and Main Line Today.
