Rothman Orthopaedic Institute Now Offering the Urgent Care Mt. Laurel Patients Need
Rothman Orthopaedic Institute has recently announced its plan to open a series of Rothman Orthopaedic Urgent Care clinics throughout the region. On the list of new locations is a center for urgent care near Mt. Laurel, NJ.
All of the new Rothman Orthopaedic Institute Orthopaedic Urgent Care clinics will be for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. These include issues such as sprains, fractures and tears. Patients suffering from non orthopedic injuries and illnesses will be referred to the local emergency room or an alternative urgent care center in the region. Mike West, the CEO of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute says that the goal is to “provide better access to the numerous orthopaedic specialists we have here,” and says that this new center for the kind of urgent care Mt. Laurel residents need will allow patients to “get access to the best orthopaedic doctors in the region” in a much more convenient and quicker way than a typical emergency room.”
For all of the new centers, including the one for urgent care in Mt. Laurel, the initial hours of operation are scheduled to be Monday through Friday 8 to 8 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 6:00 pm. Rothman Orthopaedic Institute looks forward to opening and running these centers and having the opportunity to provide patients with quick and easy access to orthopedic specialists. The centers will offer a wide range of orthopaedic services including imaging and referrals to surgeons if the need should arise. Immediate follow up appointments will also be arranged for those patients who need continued care.
A Rothman Orthopaedic Urgent Care smartphone app is also in the works. This tool will help patients find the nearest clinic locations, direct them to parking, provide helpful information and show hours of operation.
